Phil's Mother and Step Dad took us on a trip to New York to celebrate Phil's retirement from HAFB and our 18th anniversary. We had a wonderful time and we are very grateful for their generosity. |
We visited the 911 Memorial

The Toys R Us Store was pretty awesome. It even had an indoor farris wheel
We had dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Wonderful food and entertainment!
We all went to a Broadway Musical called "Jersey Boys" It was excellent!
We took a two hour bus tour all around the city of Manhatten which showed us all highlights of New York

It started sprinkeling a little and Jim needed a little help getting his rain covering on.
They had some beautiful parks in the city

There were taxi cabs everywhere! That's how we got around when it was to far to walk.
We spent an afternoon in Central Park. It was very busy and lot's of people

Fun times! Mom, you are so pretty and your hair is getting long! It looks like you all enjoyed the trip. New York looks so big compared to tiny Stephenville, haha :) I would like to go there someday too, maybe that's where Cinemark will move us next!
