Over the Valentine Day weekend, Karrie and I decorated heart cakes for the grandkids.
Karrie was so particular (OCD) with her cakes and did an awesome job decorating them.
My cake left a little more to be desired but I think they all tasted the same in the end
Phil and I delivered the cakes and treats on Sunday and had the opportunity to have dinner with Kelsi, Craig and Brayden and then had a nice visit with Jill, Madison, Emma and Erika.
Suzanne McFadden brought Zoe and Lincoln over to deliver us a cute Valentine and visit for awhile while their mommy and daddy went to dinner. Zoe and Lincoln love their Grandma McFadden.
On Valentine's Day Megan brought Zoe and Lincoln over for a little party. While I spent the afternoon in the doctors office, Karrie made a spaghetti dinner for all of us.
Lincoln loved the meatballs
After dinner we went on a treasure hunt to find the hidden Valentine treats. The kids loved it and Zoe was so good at finding all the clues while mommy read them where the next one was.
Then Zoe decided that she could read the clues herself without any help from mom. She would just make up words as she pretended to read the papers. It was so funny!
The final destination was Grandma's treasure chest where they found their Valentine treats
This Picture is out of order but to cute not to share. Zoe would take Lincoln by the hand as they went from clue to clue to find their treasure. Here they are going downstairs to Grandpa's office.
Opening the treasure chest to find their treats
Then we pulled out some of Grandma's toys and tapped into our creative side.

what a good valentines! You guys did the most fun things! I love the heart cakes! Sorry you spent the day at the Doctors office, that stinks.
Thank you for having us over and making Valentines Day so special for the kids! They sure do love you and Phil! I do too :)
Oh and I can't believe you really saved that crazy picture of me...
It was so fun! I can't be a cake decorator though...it takes to long! :-)
